ABSTRACT DEADLINE 02 AUGUST

You Are Invited

The PGRN Scientific Program Committee invites you to participate in the PGRN Symposium this fall, held in conjunction with the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) Annual Meeting. This pre-ASHG symposium is scheduled for Monday 18 October, 2021 from 12:00-5:00 ET (9:00-2:00 PT)

Member - $50 / Non-Member - $100
Trainee Member - $25 / Non-Member Trainee - $35
Developing Country - $0 Sponsored

Abstract Instructions

The Presenting Author must be registered to submit an abstract.

Upload your abstract in .pdf format when you register or by the
August 02 deadline.

1. Follow the same format and general guidelines as ASHG with the following exceptions:

a. Encore abstracts allowed (i.e. the abstract can have been presented at another conference)

b. Co-submission to PGRN and ASHG is allowed 

2. You can replace your .pdf submission up to the August 02 deadline.

Abstract Review

After the August 02 deadline, abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Programming Committee.  You will be notified via email as to whether your abstract has been accepted by September 01, 2021.

  1. Each abstract is reviewed by 2 reviewers. This review step is blinded and strictly confidential. Each reviewer scores the abstracts independently, without knowledge of the name(s) and institution(s) of the submitter(s) or the scores given by the other reviewers.
  2. The accepted abstracts are assigned a number and scheduled date/time.
  3. The top-scoring Trainee abstracts will be eligible for an award. A Trainee must be student, fellow or postdoc.
  4. PGRN reserves the right to decline a presentation to any submitted abstracts that lack scientific content or merit, or that merely announce the availability of a resource or service.
